Chikun/Kajuru Constituency: PDP’s ‘No Shaking’ Remains Unshaken In Reps Contest As Early Results Trickle In

Chikun/Kajuru House of Representatives candidate, Yakubu Bards alias No Shaking of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) seems to have started his bid for a fifth term on a good note as he trounced his opponents in several polling units in Chikun Local Government Area.
Early results coming in puts him in comfortable early win, shocking his closest rival, Ekene Abubakar Adams, tipped for victory, with a wide margin.
In results announced from 023 polling unit U/Pama Sabon Tasha Ward Chikun, he polled 725 out of 938 accredited voters, leaving APGA with 67 and APC with 62.
In the Senatorial contest in that pol!ing unit,  PDP stole the show in the polling unit, with 613 votes, Shehu Sani of PRP was second with 266 while Malam Uba Sani of APC trailed with 25 votes.
In the Presidential contest, PDP’s Alhaji Atiku Abubakar was no match for others as he garnered 921 votes.
President Muhammadu Buhari got 13 votes, while other parties shared remaining nine votes, with six invalid recorded.
The Inec  officials arrived the pol!ring unit by 11:am  and started arranging ballot boxes by 11:30am.
Card reading accreditation  started around  12:48pm with  four card readers.

House reps PDP 725  APGA 67, APC 62, PRP 55, AGA 6, MPM 6, ANN 6, SDP 5, AGAP 3, NCP 1, ADP 1, NRN 1. Invalid 9
Senatorial: PDP 613 PRP, 266, APC 25, APGA 20, MPN 9, NRM 4, PPA 2, PPN 1, ADC 1, invalid 9.
Presidential: PDP 921, APC 13, PCP 6, YPP 1, APP 1, PPA 1, invalid 6.
