The Chief tactician of the only Nigerian club side and hope in this year’s  continental championship,Stanley Eguma of Rivers United has commended his lads over their 2-0 home win against visiting FC Rwandan Rayon Sports at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Port Harcourt.
Speaking shortly after his team’s victory, he said he was optimistic that his team will not leave any stone unturned as they perfect plans ahead the second leg billed for Kigali, this weekend.
According to him: “We are going back straight from here to the drawing board so as to avoid the repeat of that 4-3 goals aggregate suffered in the hands of El-Merrick of Sudan after a 3- 0, home win against it in Port Harcourt during the preliminary stages.” he said.
New Nigerian Sports can authoritatively report that the second leg is expected to be decided this weekend in far away Kigali.
