Salaam, On behalf of myself and my family, I wish to condole with you and your entire family over the death of our father Alhaji Yusuf Buratai , whose statesmanship will be greatly missed not only by you, your family, Biu Emirate, but the Nation at large. I feel so bad that I couldn’t attend the Jana’iza and be with you in this period, to personally console you.
Baba was a man of courage, wisdom and indeed a soldier with a difference. He was among the few Nigerians who believed in the unity of the country and fought gallantly for it.
Since his retirement from the Nigerian Army, Baba has been a community leader whose counsel has being a source of inspiration for many generations.
We are however consoled that, Baba has raised a greater veteran in your person, your contributions to the security infrastructure of the Nigeria, has led to the victory against insurgency in Nigeria and indeed the West Africa Sub-region. We are indeed proud to be part of your extended family
May Allah s.w.t. grant him Jannatul-Firdaus and forgive his sins. May He make his grave a place of comfort and light. Ameen.
May Allah s.w.t. enhance your recompense and be generous in your calamity and forgive the deceased and induce you with patience and multiply for us and for you recompense through patience. It is Allah that takes and it is He that gives, and He prescribes a certain destiny for every matter.
May Almighty Allah dwell him in Jannataul-Firdaus, the most beautiful paradise, may He grant him rest, may his grave be a part of Jannatul Firdaus and an abode of light. May Allah make him pass successfully in all the stages of the life after death. Ameen
Finally, We also pray that Allah s.w.t. will grant you and your family sabr in this difficult time, and reward you with Khair both in this world and the next. Ameen.
Dr. Abdulrasheed Abdullahi
