Bindow Condemns Mubi Bomb Attack That Killed 27, Injured 56

Governor Mohammed Umar Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa State has condemned Tuesday twin blast in Mubi town which  claimed 27 lives and left 56 injured.
Bindow who described the attack as satanic, cowardly and dastardly ordered the immediate provision of medical supplies and mobilization of medical officers to the general hospital in Mubi.
The state Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Ahmad Sajoh, made this known in a press statement made available to journalist in Yola.
The statement which confirmed 27 dead and 56 injured from the  twin blasts maintained that 56 who suffered various degree of injuries were on admission in the Mubi general hospital.

Bindow has ordered for free medical care to all injured victims of the blast which occurred in Kasuwan Gwanjo (second hand clothes market) and a mosque within the market.

“In addition, the Adamawa State Emergency Management Agency (ADSEMA) had been ordered to supply food and non-food items to the hospital to cater for victims and victims relations.” The statement stated.

The governor also urged people in Mubi and its environs to urgently  donate blood in order to save the injured.
The statement reiterated government commitment to protection of lives and properties of all citizens.
