Be Patriotic, Rise To The Rescue, Falae Tasks Nigerians

National Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) and Former Presidential candidate of the Alliance for Democracy (AD) Chief Oluyemisi Falae on Monday asked Nigerians to save Nigeria and restore democracy by bringing a new hope for fulfilment.

Chief Falae made the call in Ibadan while speaking during a tour by SDP leaders to woo prominent politicians in Oyo state including former governor of the state, Otunba Adebayo Alao- Akala .

The SDP National leader pointed out that the time has come  for “all patriotic Nigerians who believe in national unity, justice, equity and progress to come together and rescue the nation.”

“There is a need for us to be together to save Nigeria and restore democracy, by bringing about a new hope for fulfillment. It is the time for all patriotic Nigerians who believe in national unity, justice, equity and progress to come together and rescue the nation.”he said.

Chief Falae disclosed that the SDP leaders were in Ibadan “to start the rebuilding of a new Nigeria project so as to safeguard the future of the nation from precipice and current “rudderless leadership”.

Also speaking, former Minister of Education, Professor Tunde Adeniran also emphasized the need for Nigerians to embrace the newly rejuvenated Social Democratic Party (SDP) by teaming up with other  Nigerians across geopolitical zones in the country were daily queuing behind the party to fast track the development of Nigeria from May, 2019.

Receiving the SDP leaders,, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala declared that he was humbled to receive such a high powered delegation of notable elderstatesmen in his Bodija Ibadan residence, saying, Chief Falae and others are credible Nigerians who had made their marks in politics,.

The former Oyo state governor however  promised to get back to the  SDP leaders very soon after discussions with his statewide supporters.

Other leaders of the party at the Oyo state tour included  Ambassador Yemi Farounbi;  Dr. Olu Agunloye; Hon. Taiwo Akeju; Chief Kola Balogun; and Princess Oyeronke Akinlolu.
