Bauchi Approves Upward Review Of NATA For Civil Servants

Governor Mohammed Abubakar of Bauchi state has approved an upward review of Non- Accountable Travelling Allowance (NATA) as part of the present administration’s efforts to improve service delivery in the state.
 
A circular issued Tuesday by the State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Liman Bello stated that the Governor has granted approval for the upward review of the travelling allowance from 67 — 200% with effect from 1stFebruary, 2018.
 
Bello explained that the decision to review the allowances by the State Chief Executive was part of the various interventions of the present administration towards motivating the civil servants in improving service delivery.
 
He stated that the upward review of the allowances cut across various categories of civil servants, particularly those on grade level 01 up to the position of permanent secretaries, commissioners and other political appointees.
 
Alhaji Liman Bello therefore urged civil servants in the state to reciprocate the government’s kind gestures through exhibiting more commitment, dedication, punctuality and discipline in the discharge of their official duties for improved productivity
