The gubernatorial candidate for the All Progressives’ Congress (APC), Cross River state, Senstor John Owan Enoh, has reacted to the over #648 billion Naira claimed as total debt owned to a private company owned by the incumbent governor as a scan and dangerous move to sale the state to himself and his unborn generations.

Owan Enoh stated this in Calabar while reacting to a.memo emanating from the governor’s office signed by the Secretary to the state government addressed to the Speaker, Cross River State House of Assembly, dated February 19, 2019, reference No. SSG/S/300/Vol.XV11/1199.

He told a mamonth APC supporters in Calabar that the letter seeks the legislature”s passage of a resolution granting “an approval for the state Assembly to issue an ISPO of #300 million monthly through the United Bank for Africa (UBA) in favour of Messes Sydney Construction NIg. limited for the construction of the 275 kilometers Calabar/Ikom/Katsina-Ala superhuman subject to issusance of Interim Payment Certificate (IPC)

According to him, the letter added, “this State Executive Council had on Monday 18,. approved the issusance of the ISPO to UBA”.

Ironically, he said, “this useful information is coming from our brothers and sisters in the state House of Assembly. It is real and we must stop him by voting him out come March 9, 2019”.

Unfortunately, “it has been aruged and deliberated that it would span for 180 years to offset the debt”.

He called on all well meaning Cross Riverians to stand up and condemn this “unholy act of trying to plunge the state to total collapse.

“We must therefore come enmasse to vote Ayade and his party PDP out to save the future of our generation and that of the state”.

He declared, “it is not about Owan Enoh, not about my campaign team, but it is about Cross River State”.

Owan Enoh also used the opportunity to appeal to APC supporters to vote on Saturday and not allow the internal wrangling in the party to deter them from voting for the candidates of All Progressives’Congress.

He said “do not be confused, John Owan Enoh is APC Governorship candidate with Ntufam Ekpo Okon as Deputy.
