The coordinator of the Atiku Global Support Group Akwa Ibom State (AGSG), Eric Ekwere, has expressed optimism that former Vice President of Nigeria Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is the most prepared Nigerian to rule the country and restore its lost glory.

He made this known during an interactive session with pressmen after an executive meeting of the group in Uyo.

Eric Ekwere who is in charge of the Atiku Mobilization and Support Group in Akwa Ibom State described Atiku Abubakar as a man with vast experience both politically and in business which is the aspect in which the country needs urgent attention.

According to him, such experience would alleviate the country from the economic setback witnessed in the last 3 years. “Atiku is an experienced politician having been a Vice President and as a great and successful business man he also understand the nuances of the economic sector and this is what the country so desires,” he added.

The Mkpat Enin born politician further pointed out that the robust network of friendship Atiku commands globally goes a long way in showcasing how good a person he is.

According to him, world leaders pay courtesy visits to Atiku Abubakar from time to time because of the healthy relationship he has with them and when elected as president it would boost Nigeria’s economic and diplomatic relations with so many countries.

Eric Ekwere also described the former Vice President as one of the most detribalized Northern politician in the country.

“Recently, Nigeria has been ravaged by activities of herdsmen which a lot of people have attributed to Fulani men, but as a Fulani man, Atiku has always condemned the activities calling for restraints and has charged relevant government agencies to take action.
