The proposed Referral Centre to be established in Abuja by West Africa Health-Care Company Limited in partnership with Saudi-German Hospital, Dubai will soon be commissioned.

Semira Dikbas, an international Patient Affairs Adviser of the Referral Centre in Maitama area of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja disclosed this recently.

The first step in this joint initiative between Atiku Abubakar and Saudi German Hospital is in the final stages and would soon be commissioned, Dikbas assured.

The referral Centre, she said, will be fully equipped to carry out cancer diagnosis and other health examinations.

According to her, the proposed referral centre will act as a bridge between Nigerians and the Saudi German Hospital.

There will be monthly visits of specialized doctors from Dubai in addition to occasional health check up programmes at the referral centre.

“Once the patient is presented at the centre, an initial diagnosis will be done and those who require further medical management will be referred to the Dubai hospital,” Dikbas explained

She pointed out that all required logistics starting from visa/flight booking/hotel accommodation and all other travelling concerns of the patient will be taken care of by a dedicated team from the hospital located in Dubai.

Atiku Abubakar is a leading Nigerian politician and businessman with investments cutting across food and beverages, logistics, media, banking, agriculture, fast food, and now, medical services, a statement made available to New Nigerian read.
