Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai of Kaduna State on Wednesday sympathised with the Rigasa Community, Igabi Local Government Area in Kaduna State.
The governor who was at LEA Primary School, Mashi Gwari, Rigasa, assured the residents of the protection of lives and property of their community.
The community which was invaded by armed bandits recently, also suffered a fire outbreak which claimed some lives in the area as some of the residents have vacated their homes.
Some of the residents of Mai Giginya village are taking refuge after bandits invaded their communities.
The state Governor sympathized with the displaced persons, assuring them that they will return to their homes in no time, as the security agencies are on top of the situation.
Governor el-Rufai also visited the family of Abdul Sani who lost three of his children when a fire broke out at their home in Rigasa.
