APC In Early Lead In Zamfara State

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State has taken an early lead in Saturday:s governorship/House of Assembly elections.
The APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Mukthar Shehu Idris won his polling unit, the Army  barracks polling unit (014) in Tudun Wada area of Gusau local government area with landslide votes.
Idris, polled  1,131 votes while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Bello Mohammed Matawalle and his Accord party counterpart, Bala Bello got one vote respectively.
Zamfara state governor also delivered his polling unit, the Garkan Malam Isah polling unit no 012 in Galadima Ward of Talata Mafara local government area to the APC.
In the governorship, APC polled votes 1517 votes while PDP got 55 votes
Also APC  state chairman and also a state house of assembly candidate, Alhaji Lawal Muhammad Liman  won his polling unit PU no 009, Gunfumi Shiyar Galadima.
 
APC governorship candidate in the polling polled 512 votes and PDP got 148 votes while in the house of assembly, APC got 513 and PDP 146 votes
