Anti Corruption: Bindow Inaugurates 7-man Audit Committee

 Governor Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa state has inaugurated a seven man state Audit Committee.
 Speaking during the inauguration ceremony held at the Council Chamber of the government House, Bindow urged the members of the committee to discharge their responsibility without fear or favour.
 According to him, the mission of the present administrations is to ensure that corruption is eradicated.
The governor charged members of the commission to be diligent where transparency and accountability is ensured.
  Earlier, the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Umar Buba Bindir, pointed out that the state is a model in the fight against corruption and other related issues, which necessitated the hosting of the summit on corruption.
 He said the governor have instructed all ministries and departments to open up their financial books for auditing in-line with anti-corruption drive of the present administration.
 Speaking on behalf of members of the commission, Alhaji Musa Bello, appreciated the trust bestowed on them.
He promised that as professionals, they will not let the government down.
