Anambra Police Command Nabs Ogun State Kidnap Suspect

The Anambra State Police Command has arrested a suspect who allegedly masterminded the kidnap of one Obiora Okonkwo at Agbara Industrial Layout in Ogun State.
The suspect was arrested at about 2pm on May 13, 2019 by operatives attached to Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) and operation Puff Adder at Omagba phase 1,Onitsha.
A statement by Police Public Relations Officer, SP Haruna Mohammed said the 20-years-old Chinwetalu Oranu will be handed over to Ogun State Police command where the offence was committed for further investigation and prosecution.
Also arrested by Police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) and operation Puff Adder tracked was one Ajumobi Chibueze  aka as Ijele, aged 24 years and Bosa Chidi aged 28 years for armed robbery.
A police statement said, “On the 13/5/2019 at about 1:30pm,following intelligence report, Police operatives attached to the Command Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) and operation Puff Adder tracked down and arrested one Ajumobi Chibueze AKA Ijele ‘m’ aged 24 years and Bosa Chidi ‘m’  aged 28 years.
Suspects had on the 11/05/2019 robbed  one Peter Morah ‘m’ of his motorcycle and two mobile phones at gunpoint. Suspects have confessed to the crime.
A statement by the police spokesman, Haruna Mohammed said that all the robbed items have been recovered from the suspects and Case is under Investigation after which suspects would be charged to Court for prosecution.
