Aladja Community Embarks On Peace Rally After War With Ogbe-Ijoh

Aladja Community in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State on Thursday February embarked on a Peace Rally (Egbada) two days after war with Ogbe-Ijoh Community in Warri South-West Local Government Area of Delta State.
Indigenes of the Community comprising,Elders, youths and Christian groups who were dressed in traditional attires matched quarters in Aladja chanting solidarity songs as they bore green leaves signifying peace.
Eldest man of Aladja Community, Pa. Abel Esiefarhienrhe prayed for peace for the community as well as peaceful resolution of the crisis with Ogbe-Ijoh Community by the Delta State Government.
Esiefarhienrhe who said the prayers at his residence in Ubadode Quarters in Aladja also advised the youths to maintain peace and be law abiding.
As at the time of filing of this report, there was uneasy calm in both Aladja and Ogbe-Ijoh Communities even with the presence of security operatives.
