Governor Tanko Al-Makura of Nasarawa State has been given a pat on the back for serving the state and humanity to the best of his ability.
The image maker of the governor, Muhammad Atose said this in Lafia barely three days to the end of the governor’s eight years of piloting the affairs of the state.
Atose said Governor Al-Makura has turned things around for the state in the area of leadership and that is why posterity will remember him.
“Al-Makura has served humanity to his best, and posterity will judge him”, he said.
He said the governor’s greatest happiness stems from the fact that he is stepping out of office in good health.
He said, “The main purpose of governance is giving back to humanity and serving selflessly. All that put together, Al-Makura should be happy that he has been able to do that and God gave him the grace.
“The fact that he is also leaving in good health to take over another challenging responsibility at the Senate is a sort of fulfilment for him.
“Governance is a continuum, so we are expressing the hope that his successor, Engr. Abdullahi A Sule, would continue from where he stopped.
“Having had that opportunity to be elected as governor and for eight years, and he is able to do it in good health and mind, he should only raise his hands up and say ‘Alhamdulillah! Alhamdulillah!! Alhamdulillah!!!”, the image maker added.
