Akinlotan Resumes as NSC Lagos Liaison Officer …Promises to Improve Stadium Security

The newly appointed Liaison Officer for the Lagos office of the Sports Ministry, Segun Akinlotan resumed office on Wednesday with a pledge to increase the internally generated revenue of Lagos office as well as improve security at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
In an interview with Journalists shortly after inspecting offices and facilities at the national stadium, Lagos, Akinlotan stated that he has identified some minor and major problems at the stadium and will compile his report to the Director of facilities and that of grassroots sports development for necessary action.
“I’ve gone round the facilities and identified some minor and major problems which are supposed to be tackled to ensure the stadium regain its past glory.
“The major challenge here has to do with covering the Legacy pitch to enable its users feel at home when they are there. I have compiled my findings and will make official presentation to my bosses at Abuja whom I believe will take it up with higher authorities”, he assured.
On the state of the main bowl of the national stadium, he stated that he is aware that action is being taken to put it in better position.
Akinlotan, who stated that he is in Lagos to work, advised staff of the Lagos office to be dedicated to duty.
