Governor Abiola Ajimobi on Monday signed into law the bill on prohibition of violence against women in public and private lives and the repealing of criminal administrative justice law of Oyo state
Speaking while assenting the bills shortly after the state’s executive council meeting, Governor Ajimobi declared that with the passing of the two bills into law, the administration of justice would be well enhanced in the state.
The governor emphasized that the present administration in Oyo state government is committed to doing its best in maintaining law and order in and across the state.
The bill was assented to in the presence of the Deputy Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon Abdulwasiu Musa and other representative of the house.
