Abduction: Court arraigns ABU staff for criminal accusation

The Magistrate Court sitting at Kings Road, Sabon Gari, Zaria on Tuesday arraigned one Miss Joy Enobong-Akpan for allegedly accusing five staff of Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) of criminal conspiracy and abduction.
Enobong-Akpan (defendant), a staff of Kashim Ibrahim Library, ABU, allegedly accused the staff (plaintiff) of the institution of abducting her biological daughter.
Our correspondent in Zaria reports that the complainants filed a direct complain under section; 391, 392, 393, 397 and 399 penal code before the Chief Magistrate.
The complainants included; Muhammad Gimba-Alfa, Rev. J. F. Buka, Lawal Yakubu, Mohammed Yunusa and Haruna Muhammad.
The accused, Miss Joy Akpan pleaded not guilty to the offense.
The presiding Judge, Chief Magistrate Benjamin Hassan granted the accused bail in the sum of N50, 000 and two reliable sureties and must be residing in Zaria.
The case had been adjourned to April 7th 2016 for continuation.
