Three suspected cultists have been arrested by police detectives in Lagos over alleged defilement of a 15-yr old girl.
Identified as Ibeji Chukwuemaka 21years, Caleb Isaac 21years, and Paul Ehimika 23years, the suspects were alleged to have committed the act in their room at 52 Jagua Street Itakete Imude in Ajangbadi area of Lagos State.
The Commissioner of Police Lagos command, Edgal Imohimi who made the disclosure said the suspects allegedly blindfolded the victim named Uloma Okafor with a red scarf and took turns to rape her.
He added that they were nabbed by police operatives attached to Ilemba- Hausa division headed by CSP. ALIM MODIBO on 1st of June. 2018 following report by the victim.
Though the suspects denied being cultists, Edgal stated that they however confessed to have raped the teenager.
Edgal informed that one cutlass,
one red scarf with which they blindfolded the girl were recovered from their room during a search.

On the 01/06/2018, a report was made at Ilemba–Hausa Division, Ajangbadi that One Uloma Okafor, ‘f’, 15 years of age was viciously raped by three men whose names are: Ibeji Chukwuemaka 21years; Caleb Isaac 21years; and Paul Ehimika 23years.
The suspects allegedly blindfolded her with a red scarf and took turns to rape her in their room at 52 Jagua Street Itakete Imude in Ajangbadi area of Lagos State. During interrogation, the suspects denied being cultists but confessed raping the teenager. Meanwhile during execution of a search warrant in their abode, the following items were recovered: One (1) Cutlass; One red scarf with which they blindfolded the girl, was recovered in their room”, the police commissioner stated in a press release.
He added that the suspects will be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation.
