The National Coordinator, Youth Empowerment of the Peoples Democratic Party {PDP}, Alhaji Kabiru Garkuwa has challenged the 17 party chairmen to work towards the success of the party in 2019.
He stated this during an exclusive interview with New Nigerian Newspapers in Jos, stressing that there is a need for all the stakeholders in the state to intensify campaign for the victory of PDP in the state.
”The hope for the party victory in the state and Nigeria in particular depend solely on how our chairmen conduct the affairs of the party in our convention in both states and National level”, he said.
According to him, “ the party which is now in opposition at both the state and National level have strategies to win election in 2019“.
The National coordinator also called the party chairmen in state to capitalise on what he referred to as the failure of the ruling APC in the state to regain power in Plateau State.
However, he urged youths in the state to intensify campaign in all local governments ”with a view of capturing the state again in 2019”.
On the current leadership crisis rocking the state chapter of the party, Garkuwa called on “all the factions to forget their differences and work the advancement of PDP to recapture the state from APC“.
