The Ilaje /Ese Odo Local Governments Youth Vanguard has called on the the former Chairman, House Committee on Information in the Ondo State House of Assembly, Hon. Oyebo Aladetan to represent them in the Federal House of Representatives in the 2019 general election.
The Chairman of the group, Comrade Theophilus Esan during a chat with New Nigerian in Akure said the youths within the Federal Constituency has resolved to work for Hon. Aladetan’s success by winning the election.
According to him, going by his antecedent as a member in the state House of Assembly, the people in the area were able to enjoy more dividends of democracy with assurance to be better off if he moves to higher level.
Esan said, Hon. Aladetan as a tested and trusted person is not a politician that will give vague promises, saying as a man of the people, he weighs his words before committing himself on any issue.
He recalled the level of human developments that transpired among the people of Ilaje and Ese Odo local governments within those periods he served as the Chairman House Committee on Information.
His words, “we are working assiduously on Hon. Oyebo Aldetan to ensure that he accepts to represents us at the lower Chamber”.
Comrade Esan also recalled that things had changed among the Youths in the last three years during the period Hon. Aladetan could not represent them in the state House of Assembly.
” We can count a number of people that Hon. Aladetan has empowered with Small Scale Industries and other business entrepreneurs at this austere period”, the Youth Vanguard Chairman said.
Hon. Aladetan, he said, was able to reduce unemployment among the Youths by sensitising and empowering them within his available resources even as they later became employers of labour.
