Nigerians cannot wait to get rid of the devilish All Progressives Congress (APC) regime at the general elections in 2019.
A Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain in Kaduna State, Honourable Joseph Sarjuri expressed this while fielding questions from newsmen after the Kaduna State Executive Committee (SEC) meeting in Kaduna on Thursday.
“These are devilish administration, they are devilish. They are gonners,” he said.
Speaking further, he said that the PDP was better organised than the ruling party.
On why the meeting was called, he said that Senator Ahmed Makarfi called the meeting, to express his appreciation for the support hr has received all through.
“He just called to thank them for supporting them, but what we heard is different. The endorsements came pouring in and I think he can make a good candidate.
“When Makarfi contested the Kaduna State Governorship election in 1999, nobody thought he would win, but he did.
On Obasanjo’s letter, he aligned with the former President, saying that President Buhari has failed.
For the Kaduna State PDP Women leader, Mrs. Comfort Amwe also was optimistic that their party would excel at the polls.
“We are not entertaining any fears about winning the elections. They gave a lot of hopes, even equating themselves to the creator, but they have failed.
“They promised, but they are rounding up their three years, but we have not seen anything on ground. They failed to stand on their promises.
“Nigerians have realized that the PDP is better and would queue behind the party,” she said.
She advised President Muhammadu Buhari to either resign, or not contest for 2018, before his name is dragged to the mud.
Commenting on the endorsement of former PDP Chairman, she was of the view that this is the ordained time for Makarfi to win.
