In a move suspected to be a consolidation ahead of the 2019 Presidential polls,  former governor of Jigawa State and front line aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Sule Lamido has paid a solidarity visit to the PDP Chairman Plateau State, Hon Damishi Sango at his country home in Dangwal, Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State over his release from the hands of his abductors .
The leader of the delegation, Alhaji Umar Kyari said they were in Plateau State at the instance of the Jagoran Talakawa who is unavoidably absent to join Hon Sango in thanking the Lord Almighty for his Grace and Mercy upon the rescued victims of the unfortunate kidnapping saga while praying for God’s continuous protection on the Chairman and His Family.
In his response, Hon Sango thanked the delegation for the kind visit and admonished Dr. Sule Lamido to continue with his struggle in liberation of the downtrodden masses in Nigeria.
The PDP Chairman reminded the delegation of his long time relationship with Dr. Sule Lamido which dates back to the Second Republic while  with Chief Solomon Lar and Dr. Abubakar Rimi all of blessed memories and Fourth Republic where they both served as Ministers under President Obasanjo.
Hon Sango also prayed for journey mercy upon the delegation as they return to their destinations .
It would be recalled that Dr. Sule Lamido was amongst the first to condemn the act of kidnapping visited upon the chairman and his delegation while on their way to the PDP National Convention in Abuja in December 2017.
The delegation included Dr Emmanuel D Loman who happens to be the Plateau State Coordinator for Sule Lamido Campaign Organisation, Hon Sadat Garga, Alhaji Umar Danjani, Hon Kabiru Hussaini, Reverend Thomas Dogo, Alhaji Abba Naraguta among others.
