The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nasarawa State, Engr Abdullahi Sule, has unveiled his campaign manifesto to the people of the state with a promise to industrialize the state if elected governor in 2019.
Sule unveiled his manifesto in Lafia, witnessed by crowd of party supporters and stakeholders which officially marks the commencement of his governorship campaign across the state.
“My vision is anchored on industrialisation of Nasarawa State, to make it the industrial and economic hub of the North central zone of Nigeria.
“We are convinced that this policy is capable of addressing the challenges of unemployment of youth and women, wealth creation and boosting economic activities in the state.
“Given my background in the private sector, I will leverage on my net worth of investors, local and foreign, to attract their capital for the industrialisation of Nasarawa State”, he said.
The APC governorship candidate who is the immediate past Group Managing Director of Dangote Sugar Refinery, promised to sustain the already existing partnership of the state government with Agri-business company, Olam Nigeria Ltd and Dangote Group to establish the integrated sugar refinery in Tunga area of Awe local government.
Other areas of his focus include economic development, agriculture, education, tertiary education , health , security , water, electricity, infrastructural and rural development , youths and women , traditional institutions as well as civil service and labour relations.
