2019: APC Reaffirms El-Rufai Candidature

Against the back-drop of the recent declaration of interest by President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2019 Presidential race, the Kaduna State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has re-affirmed its earlier endorsement of Malam Nasir Ahmad  el-Rufai for the 2019 gubernatorial elections.

The party spoke through its acting Publicity Secretary, Salisu Tanko Wusono who was answering questions from newsmen in Kaduna.

He said the party`s  position is based on the earlier endorsement of both  President Muhammadu Buhari and Malam Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai`I for the Presidential and Kaduna Governorship elections respectively which was held  at the Umaru Musa Yar adua Hall, Murtala Muhammed Square Kaduna last year.

The APC Chieftain described  the declaration of interest of President Muhammadu Buhari for the 2019 Presidential election as a  thing of joy to the Kaduna State Chapter of APC and expressed the belief that Malam Nasir Ahmad Elrufa`I will do same very soon to satisfy  the yearning of Millions of Kaduna State citizens who have been Praying for his continuation in office.

On the achievements of Malam Nasir Elrufai`s administration since assumption in office, Salisu Tanko Wusono told the Newsmen that the achievements were too numerous to count in a short interview and disclosed that the Party will soon present to the Public the laudable and remarkable legacy achievements of the administration in the State.

On the proposed World Bank loan requested by Kaduna State Government which the Senate rejected, the grassroots politician who was an Administrative Secretary of the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) North- West Zone, described the Law makers from the State who opposed the loan request as enemies of Kaduna State and opined that they will regret their selfish actions as the 2019 General Elections beckon because the train of Change will soon stop over to drop the bad and the Ugly among its passengers.
