2018 World Cup Fiesta: New Nigerian Newspaper’s Reporter Lands In Russia

The teeming readers of New Nigerian Newspapers  would have the ample opportunity of first hand reports about activities of the 2018 World Cup tournament live and direct from  Russia, as our erudite sports  writer,  Ayo Ojedokun lands in Russia for the Mundial.
He was among the first batch of members of Nigeria Football Supporters Club that arrived Moscow in the early hours of Wednesday ahead of the 2018 World Cup kicking off on the 14th of this month.
The team comprising more than 100 members traveled to Russia Monday aboard Egypt Air, Qatar Airline and Emirates Airline  with the second and third batches expected to touch down in Moscow tomorrow.
The group  was led by Deputy Commissioner of Police Special Enquiry Bureau, Alagbon Close, Lagos. Olukayode Samuel  assisted by  Chairman Ibadan South West Local Government, Gbenga.
Ojedokun,, popularly called “Adedibu of SWAN” by sport writers,  has a wealth of experience on sport reportage spanning 15 years, with special interest in football.
A sport analyst and unionist per excellence, Ojedokun is the secretary of the New Nigerian Newspaper chapel of Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Lagos office, SEC member NUJ Lagos Council, public relations officer, Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) among others.
He was the secretary of the NUJ Lagos Council accreditation committee for the last election that produced Dr. Quasim Akinreti as chairman of the council.
