2018: Ondo APC Chairman Calls For Dedication

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Engineer Ade Adetimehin has called for the total dedication of members towards achieving greatness for the party in the new year.
 He also urged party loyalties and the people of the state irrespective of party afiiiation to show love and remain steadfast to one another in the over all interest of the state and the people at large..
Engr. Adetimehin gave the charge on Wednesday in Akure, during the New Year prayer session organised by the party executives to begin the New Year.
He noted that unity of purpose and cooperation among members is what is needed most as at now  to enable APC, which is the ruling party in the state achieve success in her efforts to make life meaningful for the citizenry.
According to him, “our party members in all local government areas should show love for one another and ensure cooperation among themselves to move our party and the state forward”.
The APC chairman stressed the need to commence  the New Year by dedicating the party and the government to God to achieve greatness in the year ahead.
He said, ”We started off the New Year on spiritual note to dedicate our party and government of the state to God for a successful fiscal year and we believe that with God all things are possible,”.
Adetimehin, however, assured the people of the state that the economy of the state would quickly turn around and everyone in the state would benefit.
He pointed out that an enabling environment would be provided by the governor who is the party leader in the state.
Leading the prayer session, Special Apostle C.A. Ajepe noted that Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu needed prayers as well as the state government for successful running of the affairs of the state.
He therefore solicited for prayers of the people, young and old for the success of the administration if Arakunrin Akeredolu.
The minister of God used the occasion to predict that by the end of June, 2018, the nation exporter of food and would be free from hunger and starvation.
Ajepe therefore urged the people to seek divine intervention for Akeredolu’s government to be able to offset the remaining backlog of salaries of public workers in the state to mark its first year anniversary in office slated for next month.
Special prayers were also offered for President Muhammadu Buhari and the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie Oyegun for good health and proactive leadership.
Among other party leaders present at the prayer session were three former Speakers of the State Assembly, Ayo Agbomuserin, Oluwasegunota Bolarinwa and Victor Olabimtan, Tunji Fabiyi, Ayo Alogba, and Moshood Isola.
