Katsina No fewer than Twenty Thousand flowers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Charanchi Local Government area of Katsina State have decamped to All Progressive Party (APC).
Those who left the PDP include former State Commissioner of Works and Housing, Engineer Bala Almu Banye, former Chairman of the Local Government, Abdulrazak Banye, all former Councillors and Secretaries as well as Chairmen of the Ten wards and their respective followers in the area.
Director General of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN), Dr Umar Dikko Radda who received the Decampees in Charanchi said the victory was made due to Transparency and Accountability of the APC governments at both Federal and State Levels.
Dr Dikko Radda said overwhelming victory of the APC in recent Daura Senatorial elections also added popularity to the Party. Speaking on behalf of the Decampees.
Former Commissioner Bala Almu Banye said the purpose of leaving the PDP was based on the grounds that, they have appreciated the good governance of President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Aminu Bello Masari.
